Working alongside Balfour Beatty Investments, BRKS Design Studio have designed and built the public consultation website for 8 Torwood Close.
The vision is to create a cohesive student community that supports the ongoing growth of both Warwick and Coventry universities – two of the region’s engines of economic prosperity.
The proposals will deliver approximately 780 student bedrooms. Designed to maximise space and the student experience, all rooms will include a quality ensuite shower room, study space, and windows to maximise natural light.
By re-invigorating a brownfield site to take full advantage of its setting adjacent to Ten Shilling Wood, the proposed plans seek to draw in the landscape, improving biodiversity and making the area more attractive for people and wildlife.
The website will be available to view for a limited time, providing both an overview of the initial proposal and an opportunity to voice feedback, via the online form, prior to the planning application submission.
