Spirketts Lane Website

Working alongside Orbit and Inside Land Group, BRKS Design Studio have designed and built the public consultation website for land off Spirketts Lane.

The proposals will provide a new development of 162 affordable homes, with a mix of house sizes to create a community for those just starting out on their housing journey, to providing family accommodation and homes suitable for those as they grow older.

45% will be available as social rent and 55% as shared ownership. As affordable homes, they will be made available for people with local connections.

The plans aim to create a social neighbourhood that fosters a sense of community and pride and opportunities for people to meet, relax, play, and enjoy the landscaped setting.

The development will be a neighbourhood that is part of, and connected to, the wider community. New homes will be an approximate 12 minute walk from the town centre and within 5 minutes’ walk from local bus services.

The website will be available to view for a limited time, providing both an overview of the initial proposal and an opportunity to voice feedback, via the online form, prior to the planning application submission.
