Chamberlain House Website

Working alongside ABF, BRKS Design Studio have designed and built the public consultation website for Chamberlain House, Norwich.

The proposals will retain, refurbish and extend the existing building to create a 90 bed city centre hotel and provide additional flexible retail uses at ground floor.

The development will sensitively refurbish and extend this historic, city centre building to bring an under utilised space back into full occupation, ensure an ongoing positive contribution to the conservation area and support the existing commercial uses in the area.

Repairs to the existing building fabric, replacement of the poor quality rear extension and removal of the service yard will provide significant benefit to the public realm, enhancing the setting of the nearby listed buildings and historic streetscape.

The website will be available to view for a limited time, providing both an overview of the initial proposal and an opportunity to voice feedback, via the online form, prior to the planning application submission.
