A new logo concept for the North Texas-based WPSL Team.

The Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is the top amateur league for women’s soccer in the United States, and considered the 2nd tier below only National Women’s Soccer League. 

The WPSL is the longest-running active women’s soccer league and also the largest, striving to provide the highest level of developmental opportunities for amateur players in the United States.

Based on both the team name and flag of Texas, the primary focus of the logo needed to be the star, whilst also utilising the existing red and black team colours. 

The result was a modern take on the classic badge shape, with arched text and a textured star design, which could be emphasised with the embroidery of the badge.
